Community @ 67 opens its doors

Community @67, a community resource space in the old Post Office at Queens Road Keynsham, has now opened its doors and is offering a range of activities each week for local residents. Clare Hudson, Chair of Community @67 management committee said, “We are very excited that we can now open the doors on a more regular basis. We hope that residents will pop into the shop as they pass to find out what we have planned and give us some ideas as to what they would like to see there.” Clare added, “It will take some time build up a full programme but we are very pleased already with the interest in the shop”.

The shop also opens on a Monday afternoon and Friday morning as a drop in coffee shop and has a number of second hand items for sale. Community @ 67 is keen to encourage people to donate unwanted items for them to sell, with the proceeds going back into the shop to help fund the running costs. Local people to come are being encouraged to visit the shop and find out what is happening.
